GARDEN COURSE

Glenmarie has two 18-hole golf courses which are both contrasting in style and landscapes .The 6,432 metre Garden Course lives up to its name with a rich variety of flora and fauna and aesthetic lakes which meanders its way through a tropical garden with many types of palm trees and flowering shrubs . If eagles and birdies do not creep up on the scoreboard, the plethora of birds to be found on the Garden are amazing . Watch out for the swans, especially the black and white swimming on the lake

The Garden Course has undergone total renovation of its greens plus several aesthetics changes to bunkers, tee-boxes. fairways and cart paths. The renovation exercise was to enhance the beauty of the Garden Course and to make it more challenging.

VALLEY COURSE

On the 6,325 metre Valley Course many species of pine trees form the main theme on this narrow but open and scenic course with breathtaking views . Of course, water, also plays a major role in Valley which sprawls over valleys and hills to enhance its beauty and add to its challenges .

PHOENIX CHINESE RESTAURANT
As the legendary bird held to burn itself to death and rise fresh and young from its ashes, the 'Phoenix' is the new name chosen to replace the Cenderawasih Restaurant that now ceases to function as a restaurant.

The 'Cenderawasih', a Malay translation for 'Bird of Paradise' now serves as a Function Room available for booking for a multitude of functions ranging from the golf prize giving ceremonies, weddings and private functions alike.

With the opening of the 'Phoenix', members and guests can now rest assured they will have a fully dedicated restaurant that will not be closed during private functions. The Phoenix will be open daily for lunch and dinner with the exception of Monday when it will be closed for a break

GARDEN TERRACE


Built in 1997 as an annexe to the Glenmarie complex, the Eagle Suite houses three independent air-conditioned hospitality units for hire at reasonable rates to individuals or groups looking for privacy and the atmosphere to enjoy it in. Particularly suited for entertaining special guests and/or VIPs, the Suite is located away from the hustle and bustle of traffic at the main clubhouse though easily accessible to the Garden or Valley Course through separate entry points for buggies.

Styled, after world-class holiday hideaways, each exclusive unit is self-contained, complete with its own changing room, shower and toilet facilities and dinning area which is served directly from te kitchen and/or F & B outlet. To complement the ambience, personalized butle service is also available by prior arrangement with the Club.
